What you do in Moonbow Isles

A board of hearts, stars, drops and leaves on Boreal mid-cascade, with the Prism watching from its corner

Match gems, set off big combos

Swap two neighbouring gems to line up three or more. Match four, five, an L, a T or a square and you make a Beam, a Nova or a Prism, which you fire by swapping it with any gem. Chains fall, bounce and cascade on their own.

The map of Mammoth Meadows: nine golden pedestals round the tray, giant toadstools and Duke Galumph's stage

Hop across twelve islands

The map is a ring of floating islands, from a snowy pine forest to a meadow where everything is giant. Each island has nine stages, and its last stage is a boss.

Outsmart silly bosses

Every island ends with a boss who plays a trick on the board. Each one shows its next move a turn ahead, so you can always answer it. King Pom, the Snow King, is the first.

Every island plays differently

Snow, tides, lava, lifts, sand dunes, currents, paper cranes, layer cakes, sleepy clouds, flower buds, giant gems and ghosts. Each island brings new toys, and the Prism teaches each one the first time it appears.

A best friend who cheers you on

The Prism is the round, glowing friend in the corner of the screen. It reacts to your matches, giggles when poked, explains anything you double tap, and remembers the days you play together.

Neon Heights, a toy city at blue hour, floating over a glowing grid

Toy worlds that glow and sparkle

Each island is a 3D diorama built for Apple hardware with Metal. The gems are cut like glass, catch the light and cast coloured shadows. On devices that support it, you can turn on ray tracing in Settings.

Collect stars and surprises

Win a stage to earn up to three stars, beat your best score, and find a hidden Wishstone. Spend stars and Wishstones in the Star Shop on hats for the Prism.

Twelve islands, twelve kinds of play

Every island brings its own toys onto the tray and its own boss at the end. The first two islands are free.

Meet the Prism

Nothing the Prism says needs a button. It teaches each new toy in its bubble, a sentence a page, then gets out of the way. Double tap any gem or cover and it tells you what it is and what it does. Long press it to hear any lesson again.
